About

Hi, I'm Amanda, I hope you are enjoying browsing my website.

Having worked in a bridal shop many years ago, I always kept a deep fondness for all aspects of the wedding business and having been a keen crafter for many years when several friends suggested I turned my hobby into a business… I finally did it. I've now got the best of both worlds, I have my own business in Wedding Stationery using the skills I’ve learned from many years of crafting, of course, I still make the occasional greeting cards and other special stationary when I get asked, I've added link in the menu to some of my current greeting cards.

By combining these skills and knowledge it means that I can provide ‘you the customer’ with a more personal, bespoke service, unique designs, created around what you as a couple want.

There is no mass production, I handcraft my wedding stationery at home in the UK, and pride myself on attention to detail because your invitations deserve to be as perfect and beautiful as your relationship. This means that being handmade individually, I can provide a wide variety of sizes, colours and styles for you to choose from, I’m confident you will find something you’ll love.

Everything is made to order by me, okay, I occasionally enlist a little help from my husband who still says that it's just my hobby gone mad! Perhaps it's because I love what I make so much  that I am always willing to adapt my designs or create new ones, I'd like to think there is something for every taste and budget.

Although I've not shown examples on this site, Table/Seating plans, Menus and other items can be made to order upon request.

Choosing:

If you like one of the ranges on my website and would like me to send you a sample of your chosen design(s), the cost is £5 each for design samples/single cards, plus p&p, which can be ordered and paid for directly from the website.

Let's start with colours, it's possible to obtain almost any colour card and ribbon so let me know the colour(s) you would like me to use.

Fonts for the printing can be most available fonts, I have used Edwardian Script but you may like the look of another font you've seen, just let me know, remember, it's all about 'your choices'.

If you would like a sample(s) it will be sent out within 5 working days of the 'Customer Information' details being received or the information being supplied via the 'Special order instructions' at checkout. Customer information details can be sent via Email to amandastroudcreations@gmail.com making sure all the details and spelling are correct.

Having reviewed your sample and made your final decisions regarding design, colour and number required, you can either order direct from the website by clicking to purchase the quantity (Qty) you require or contact me by phone or email and confirm your final choices of design, colours and number of each required so that I can prepare you an invoice. The invoice will include p&p costs and details of how to make payment. Orders not paid for via the website require a minimum 50% deposit before I start to produce them, this is to cover the cost of materials, in accordance with my terms and conditions. I will then make your order for delivery on the required date, any balance is payable 14 days prior to delivery, delivery within 14 days of full payment and customer information details being received.

Delivery of your Order

Unless specifically requested, delivery is usually by 'Royal Mail signed for', if however it is economical and practical to do so, such as a local delivery address, we will always consider delivering ourselves.

Remember that at any stage of the process you can give me a call to chat things over, most people like to chat and be reassured when making these decisions, I'm here to help, you can reach me on my mobile 07778 658567 or email me amandastroudcreations@gmail.com and I will get back to you, usually within 24 hours.

N.B. When placing an order it is important that you re-check the sample and notify me of any changes that are required to the text or any spelling alterations, as per my standard T & C's.

Did you know -  The tradition of the bride throwing her bouquet at a wedding originated in ancient England in the 1800s. It began as a way for the bride to escape crowds of unmarried women who would try to rip pieces of her dress or bouquet to gain good luck and get married next, the bride would throw her bouquet into the crowd and run away to avoid being harmed!
